A RESOLUTION CONFTPIIING ORDERING RESOLUTION
NO. 84-280 AND AUTII0RTZ7:NG THE' CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR SEALED BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF EDGEWATER HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT IN
EDGEWATER HIGIiWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT I1-4496.
WHEREAS, at the City Commission meeting of March 8,
1984, Resolution No. 84-280 was passed which ordered a
highway improvement identified as EDGEWATER HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT in EDGEWATER HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT I1-4496; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due public notice, public
hearings were hold before the City Commission on May 10,
1984, as to
any objections to
the confirmation
of Resolution
No. 84-280,
which resolution
ordered EDGEWATER
HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT in EDGEWATER HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4496;
and
WHEREAS, no objections to the confirmation of said
highway improvement were sustained by the Commission, it is
therefore in order for the Commission to confirm said
ordering resolution and authorize the City Clerk to advertise
for sealed bids for the construction of said improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Resolution No. 84-280 dated March 8, 1984,
which ordered EDGEWATER HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT in EDGEWATER
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4496, is hereby confirmed.
Section 2. The City Clerk is liereby authorized to
advertise for sealed bids for the construction of EDGEWATER
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT in EDGEWATER HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-4496.

Ordering Resolution

The Department of Public Works recommends the
adoption of the resolution confirming Ordering
Resolution 84-280, and authorizing the City
Clerk to advertise for sealed b:i.d, for the
construction of EDGEWATER I l(31B,%AY I:1,11TROVEMENT
in EDGEIIAT}IR HIG11WAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-4496.
This district consists of properties located in the area border-
ed by N. E. 20 Street, N. E. 35 Terrace, Biscayne Boulevard,
and Biscayne Bay. The overall condition of certain street
rights of way in the Edgewater area has deteriorated. The
pavement is narrow, in poor condition, and/or out of grade;
side parkways are in poor condition, and drainage problems
exist.
This improvement was ordered by the City Commission at their
meeting of March 8, 1984. It is now in order to confirm the
ordering resolution and advertise for bids.
A public hearing will be held on May 10, 1984, at which time
the Commission will hear objections to the confirmation of
the ordering resolution.
