By an affirmative vote of four -fifths (4/5ths) of the Members of the City Commission, after a duly advertised public hearing, the City Manager's written finding that Physio-Control Corp. is the Sole Source of supply to the City for furnishing Six (6) Life - Pak 5 Battery Support Systems to the Department of Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services is hereby ratified. Section 2. The requirement for competitive sealed bids for furnishing the Six (6) LifePak 5 Battery Support Systems is hereby waived, and the purchase from Physio-Control Corp. at a total cost of $8,400.00 is hereby approved with funds therefor hereby allocated from the 1983-84 Operating Budget of the Department of Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services. Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to ins- truct the Purchasing Agent to issue purchase orders for this service, subject to the availability of funds.
