ENCLOSURES:
It is recommended that the City Commission
authorize the City Manager to advertise the
attached request for proposals to install
street clock advertising displays within
certain public rights -of -way of the City of
Miami.
As directed by Resolution 83-619, July 18, 1983, the City Manager
established a Design Review Committee to consider and recommend
policies for the design and location of street clock/advertising
displays along City streets and said Committee has, after three
meetings, returned a final report recommending certain policies,
limitations and conditions that should be imposed upon any
program to install street clock displays along public rights -of -
way.
With consideration of the recommendations made by the Design
Review Committee, a Request for Proposals has been prepared
containing the following elements:
