WHEREAS, FP&L has requested that the City of Miami grant a five (5) foot easement over and across a portion of Robert King High Parr, as shown on the attached sketch and described in Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for the installation of two relocated poles and transmission lines from West Flagler Street; and WHEREAS, Permission to install two concrete transmission poles and guys has been granted FP&L by the Parkes Department and Public Works sees no problems with such request; and WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission to approve the granting of the aforementioned easement, and to authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute said easement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The grant of easement (copy attached) to FP&L for the construction and installation of two concrete transmission poles and guys in a portion of City of Miami's Robert King High Park for the relocation of transmission lines from West Flagler Street is hereby approved. Section 2. The City Manager and City Clerk of the City of Miami are hereby authorized to execute and deliver the aforesaid Grant of easement to FP&L Company. Cather Director of Public Works ENCLOSURES Foy_ Commission Meeting -- of Jul 1284 The Department of Public Works recommends adoption of the attached Resolution Granting to FP&L Company an easement over and across a portion of Robert King High Park for the installation of concrete poles and transmission lines and authorizing the City Manager and City Clerk to execute said instrument hereto attached. FP&L has requested the City of Miami to grant a five (5) foot • easement through a portion of Robert King High Park for the relocation of their transmission and distribution lines from West Flagler Street. It is their request to relocate facilities to off -site easements because of Dade County's proposed rebuilding of West Flagler Street. Permission has been granted for the installation of two concrete transmission poles at the designated sites by the Parks Department.
