WHEREAS, the Civ-i.l Service Board, on July 3, 1984,
unanimously recommended the approval of employment past the
age of '/7 for V-i.rginia Lieberman, Typist Clerk II, Department
of Police; and
WHERIEAS, the City Physician has determined that the
physical condition of said Virginia Lieberman is satisfactory
for continued employment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A one (1) year extension of employment
past the age of 77 is hereby granted for Virginia Lieberman
Typist Clerk II, Department of Police, effective July 29, 1984
through July 29, 1985, with the provision that in the event of
a roll back or layoff, Virginia Lieberman, rather than a junior
employee, would be affected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30 day of July , 1984.

providing for the extension of
employer-nt for Virai,nia Lieber-
man, Typist Cleric II, Depart-
ment of Police, pursuant to
Sec. 40-207 of the City Code.
The Civil Service -Board, at its meeting of July 3, 1984 approved a one (1) year
extension of employcrent past the age of seventy-seven (77) for Virginia Lieber-
man, Typist Clerk II, Departrent of Police.
It is respectfully requested that a Resolution be adopted extending MS, Lieber-
- man's employment from July 29, 1984 to July 29, 1985.

At its Ming of July 3, 1984, the Civil Service Board c:onsidn_red the regiiest
of Virginia Lieberman, Typist Clerk II in the DeparbTent of PoAce, for an ex-
tension of eupl.oymont past the age of swvonty-seven (77) for a period of one
(1) year, to bn ef_f-cctive July 29, 1984 to July 29, 1985.
The Board noted that Colonel Richard H. Witt, Oa7n-under, Administration Section,
PoLLce Deparimm_nt, had reccnmr-nded approval of the request and that Dr. J.A.
Milera, pity Physician, had found Ms. Liebexman physically qualified to ocntinue
employment for the additional one (i) year.
The Board voted to aMrove the request, with the provision that in the event of
a rollback or layoff, Ms. Lieberman, rather than a junior employee, would be af-
fected, noting that this is in accordance with past policy.

allowed to continue working for the City for another year.
Ms. Lieberman will be 77 on July 29, 1984. She has been examined by the City
Physician and he has found her to be in good condition.
