A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ORDERING
RESOLUTION NO. 34-664 AND AUTUORTZING THE
CITY CLERK TO ADVERT07 1701 " 11AKFD BIDS
FOR THE CONSTRICTION OF ALLAPATTAH
INDUSTRIAL AREA HTGHWA`Y: TNPROt EMENT--PHASE
II IN ALLAPATTAH INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT -PHASE II, H--4495.
WHEREAS, at the City Commission Meeting of June 14, 1984,
Resolution No. 84-664 was passed which ordered a highway
improvement identified as ALLAPATTAH INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT -PHASE: II in ALLAPATTAH INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DTSTRICT-PHASE II, H-4495; AND
WHEREAS, pursuant to due public notice a public hearing was
held before the City Commission on July 30, 1984, as to any
objections to the confirmation of Resolution No. 84-664, which
resolution ordered ALLAPATTAH INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II in ALLAPATTAH INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT -PHASE II, H-4495; and
WHEREAS, no objections to the confirmation of said highway
improvement were sustained by the Commission, it is therefore in
order for the Commission to confirm sL id ordering resolution and
authorize the City Clerk to adverti so for sealed i:,ids for the
construction of said improvement;
NOW, THEPEFOPE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Resolution No. 84-664 dated June 14, 1984, which
ordered ALLAPATTAH INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II
in ALLAPATTAH INDUSTRIAL, AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT -PHASE
II, H-4495 is hereby confirmed.

REMARKS.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
advertise for sealed bids for the construction of ALLAPATTAH
INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II in ALLAPATTAH
INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT --PHASE II, H-4495.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31st day of July , 1984.

ordered by the City Commission on June 14, 1984. It is now in order
to confirm the ordering resolution and to authorize advertising for
bids.

to the confirmation of the Ordering; Resolution No. 84-664.
This improvement is being proposed as an assessable improvement under

The overall Corid�tion of c e r t tin street r!itso1.-w<a°J _n the
industrial zoned area of Allapattah has deteriorated. T'In; pavement
is narrow, in poor condition and/or out of grade, side parikways are
in poor condition and drainage problems are extensive.

All of these problems will be corrected on the streets included in
ALLAPATTAH
INDUSTRIAL AREA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II, H-4)IQ`-. The
proposed
construction will include asphaltic pavement., Concrete
sidewalk,
concrete curbs and/or gutters, storm d r a i n a e and
landscaping.
