WHEREAS, the City Commission has indicated its intent to support certain social, services programs providing services to residents of the Ci. t.y of Miami.; and WHEREAS, tiro City Commission has previously allocated Community Devolop mrnt., FcdevaJ. Funds to the Belafonte T,-coley Ccnt.er, Inc. to provide employment, vocational and proEl,arj to City of Mia►ii youth; and WHEREAS, the: Unitcd 1%`ay of Dade County and Metropolitan Dade County have indicated their intent to provide $50,000 each for a management resources and technical assistance project and financial assistance to benefit the Bela!'onte Tocolcyt Center, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the City Commission passed Mlotion 84-932 which expressed the Ci.ty'a intent to provide $50,000 to assist the Belafonte Taccil.cy Center.
