HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-84-10253-84-847 RESOLUTION NO. 84-1025 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A ONE DAY PERMIT TO SELL BEER FOR THE WYN- WOOD COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOP- MENT PROGRAM, INC. IN CONNECTION WITH THE WYNWOOD FESTIVAL TO BE HELD AT CLEMENTE PARK ON NOVEMBER 11, 1984. WHEREAS, the Wynwood Community Economic Development Program, Inc. has planned the Wynwood Festival on November 11, 1984, to commemorate Veteran's Day; and WHEREAS, the event will take place in Clemente Park and will include food booths and music; and WHEREAS, the Wynwood Community Economic Development Program, Inc. has requested a one -day permit for November 11, 1984, to sell beer in connection with the Wynwood Festival; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9818 of April 5, 1984, authorized the City Commission to permit the dispensing of beer or wine in soft containers in any City park upon such conditions and limitations as the City Commission shall prescribe; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section I. a one -day permit to sell beer and wine is hereby granted to the Wynwood Community Economic Development Program, Inc. in connection with the Wynwood Festival to be held at Clemente Park on November 11, 1984, in compliance with Ordinance No. 981,8. The Wynwood Community Economic Development Program, Inc. is planning the Wynwood Festival in Clemente Park on November 11, 1984 to comme- morate Veteran's Day. The festivities will include food booths and music and any revenues earned will go towards benefitting the non- profit organization. The organization has requested a one -day beer permit for The Parks and Recreation Department recommends approval quest as we welcome community involvement in the City's / ar Encl. cc.
