AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTIONS (A)(1)
AND (2) OF SECTION 30-539 ENTITLED "GREEN
FEES", SUBSECTION (B) OF SECTION 30-549
ENTITLED "CART FEES", AND SUBSECTION (e)
OF SECTION 30-559 ENTITLED "SPECIAL
RATES", OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, BY REVISING THE FEE
SCHEDULE FOR CITY OF MIAMI GOLF COURSES;
CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Sections 30-53, 30-54, and 30-55 of the Code
of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, are hereby further
amended in the following particulars:)
"Sec. 30-53. Green Fees.
(A) Regular Green Fees. Green fees for
residents and nonresidents of the city are as
follows:
(1) Summer months:
18 holes.................$6.00
Twilight.................$3T59 $4.00
(2) Winter months:
18 holes.................$8:99 $9.00
Twilight.................$4,99 T=.
State tax is to be added to the fees specified
above. Commencement and termination of the summer
month fees is to be announced by the city manager,
with commencement to be effective no earlier than
April fifteenth and no later than April
twenty-ninth, and with termination to be effective
no earlier than November fifteenth and no later
than November twenty-ninth.
Sec. 30-54. Cart Fees.
1 Wu ds and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted.
Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The
remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged.
Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material.
( B ) Hand Carts. The rental fee for city -owned
hand carts is one dollar and fifty sevent.—five
cents �$�v5g� ($11.75) per eighteen holes,
throughout the year.
Sec. 30-55. Special rates.
(e) Advanced starting time reservations.
Advance starting time will be available for seven
(7) days to forty-eight (48) hours of desired time
for a fee of lwe three dollars E$2rg8� ($3.00) per
starting time. Me -present advance starting time
within forty-eight (48) hours will continue with no
charge."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, insofar as they are in conflict, are
hereby repealed.
Section 3. If any section, part of section, paragraph,
clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared
invalid, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not
be affected.

ENCLOSURES:
It is recommended that Sections 30-53,
30-54, and 30-55 of the City Code be
further amended for the purpose of
revising certain fees at City of Miami
Golf Courses as indicated below and as
per the attached ordinance.
In an effort to restructure the fees charged at City -owned golf
courses, to establish comparable rates with other local public
courses, it is recommended that the below listed fees be approved
for implementation.
Green Fees
Winter Season: 18 holes From $8.00 To $9.00
Twilight (after 3:00 PM): Summer From 3.50 To 4.00
Winter From 4.00 To 5.00
Hand Carts (City -owned) From $1.50 To $1.75
Advanced Starting Time - Seven (7)
days toforty-eight (48) hours of
desired time - per starting time From $2.00 To $3.00
In that this would increase revenues at the golf courses by $48*000,
it is the recommendation of this department that said fees be
revised, as per the Attached ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION W OF CHAR
TER 38, ENTITLED "PARKS AND OTHER CITY PROP-
ERTY GENERALLY", OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE
NAME OF THE LITTLE HAVANA COMMUNITY CENTER
TO THE MANUAL ARTIME COMMUNITY CENTER, AND
BY PROVIDING THAT NOTHING CONTAINED IN THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL LIMIT OR
RESTRICT THE RIGHT OF THE CITY COMMISSION TO
ESTABLISH AND FIX SPECIAL CHARGES OR SPECIAL
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF THE
MANUEL ARTIME COMMUNITY CENTER OF LITTLE
HAVANA.
Said proposed ordinance(s) may be inspected by the public at the
office of the City Clerk, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida,
Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, during the hours of 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with
respect to the proposed ordinance(s).
Should any person desire to appeal any decisionn of the City Cam-
mission with respect to any matter to be cotu�iQered at this meeting,
