WHEREAS, the Department of Economic Development has published the MIAMI BUSINESS REPORT 1982 and the business community's acceptance of this publication Was most favorable; and WHEREAS, the Department of Economic Development will publish the MIAMI BUSINESS REPORT 1983-B4 with the financial participation of the Barnett Bank of South Florida, N.A.; and WHEREAS, this publication serves as the City's major business promotion publication with the private sector throughout the United States of America and abroad and is constantly being used by the Department of Economic Development, other organizations and the private sector as a primary resource tool for obtaining current, up-to-date economic data and statistical inform at.i.on an the City; and WHEREAS, ,ittc�r :.eries of e�et7t­3 �,rhich caused a five -month delay in ttte=etinq the prey (- ,t_ah.Iished deadline for publishing this report, the public.=at ion is ready to be sent to the printers; and WHEREAS, there has been a competitive solicitation of printing bids insofar as was practicable; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has made a written finding that an emergency need existed for the immediate procurement of the herein printing services by the below -named vendor; cc:trr UL)KNViSION MUTING OF SEP 20 tW NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1.
