WHEREAS, Motion No. 84-957 of August 16, 1984, expressed the intent of the City Commission to provide $5000 in in -kind servic- es to the National Foundation for Children in connection with the National Welcome Back Doonesbury Party to be held in Peacock Park on September 29, 1984; and WHEREAS, Motion No. 84-957 required that the provision of said services be contingent upon proof of the non-profit status of said organization; and WHEREAS, the National_ Foundation for Children has provided proof of its non-profit status; and WHEREAS, the National. Foundation for Children has requested a one -day permit to sell beer in Peacock Park on September 29, 1984, in connection ;ith said event; NOW, `I'HEREI ORE, BE' 1T RLSOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIA141 , FL0KA_ J) i : Section 1. Iin amount riot to exceed a total of $5000 is hereby provided from the operating budgets of the following Departments: Police, $2500; Fire, $400; Solid Waste, $1500; Parks and Recreation, $GOO. Section 2. The herein allocation is conditioned upon sub- stantial coraplianc` with City of Miami Administrative Policy No. APM-1-84, dated January 24, 1984.
