AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22, ENTITLED / "GARSOAGEL AND TRASH" OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY x OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED BY AMENDING SECTION 22-12, WASTE FEE IN THE FOLLOWING MANNLR- AN INCREASE IN THE ANNUAL WASTE FEE FOR THE PURPOSE I OF DEFRAYING THE COST OF WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FROM $100.00 TO $160.00 FOR RESIDENTIAL UNITS, FROM $50.00 to $80.00 FUR DWELLING UNITS IN AN APARTMENT BUILDING, FROM $195.00 TO $310.00 FOR ALL BUSINESSES NOT SERVICED BY PRIVATE SANITATION COMPANIES; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION, ANJ A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. — BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 22-12 of Chapter 22 entitled "Garbage and Trash" of the City Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby amended in the following particulars: 1/ Section 22-12. Waste Fee i (a) Commencing effective January 1, 1983 1985, an annual fee of eme-huRdped one hundred sixty dollars ($199 49) $160.00) is hereby assessed upon all residential units as defined in Section 22-1, withi h ity not serviced by private sanitation companies, for the s f defraying = the cost of waste colleeton and disposal. 10ne h 1 (}) f aid annual fee amount of f4ty eighty dollars ($SOT ) WD.00) shai"f be due and collectible on the first day of January e first day of July, 1983 1985, and on JanuaryrJanuar ly 1 o succeeding year. Said fee shall be due and collectible on January 1, 1983 1985, and on January 1 of each succeeding year.
