ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA, BY APPLYING THE HC-1: GENERAL USE
HERITAGE CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT TO THE
"MORNINGSIDE HISTORIC DISTRICT," AN AREA
GENERALLY BOUNDED BY NORTHEAST 60TH STREET ON
THE NORTH, BISCAYNE BAY AND MORNINGSIDE PARK
ON THE EAST, THE REAR LOT LINE BETWEEN
NORTHEAST 55TH STREET AND NORTHEAST 53RD
STREET ON THE SOUTH, AND BISCAYNE BOULEVARD
ON THE WEST, (MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN); MAKING FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL
THE NECESSARY CHANGES ON PAGE NO. 14 OF THE
ZONING ATLAS MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 9500, BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN
ARTICLE 3, SECTION 300, THEREOF; CONTAINING
A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting of
September 19, 1984, Item No. 4, following an advert' ed hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 103-84 by a 6 to 0 vote, COMMENDING
APPROVAL of applying the HC-1: GENERAL USE�HEFAG NSERVATION
OVERLAY DISTRICT to the subject properly& aisMherbi►kafter set
forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Com ss n of er c reful c nsi eration of
this matter deems it advis le nd i e best in rest of the
general welfare of the Cit iam and its inhabitants to grant
this application as hereina forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 0 A NED BY E COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ord nance No. 9500, the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Miami , orida, is hereby amended by applying the
HC-1: GENERAL ERITAGE CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT to the
"MORNIN I RIC DISTRICT," an area generally bounded by
Northeas 0 h Street on the north, Biscayne Bay and tdorningside
Park on t east, the rear Lot -line between Northeast 55th Street
and Northeast 53rd Street on the south, and Biscayne Boulevard on
the west, also described as a portion of Section 18, Township 53
h
