The purpose of The Friends of the Japanese Garden is the restora- tion and the maintenance of the Japanese Garden and the Teahouse on Watson Island. As we begin soliciting membership, and solidify- ing our plans for future activities including actual steps towards restoration, there are several points we need to clarify with the City Commission, since the Garden and the Teahouse are city pro- perty.
