APM-1-84, DATED JANUARY 24, 1984. WHEREAS, the Hispanic Heritage Festival Committee planned the 1985 OTI-USA Song Festival for October 6, 1984; and WHEREAS, the event was nationally televised from Miami by 275 Spanish International Network stations during prime time; and WHEREAS, the City Commission, by Motion No. 84-1001 on September 13, 1984, expressed its intent to allocate $25,000 in support of the 1985 OTI-USA Song Festival; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section I. An amount not to exceed $25,000 is hereby allo- cated from Special Programs and Accounts, Contingent Fund, in support of the 1985 OTI-USA Song Festival held in Miami on Octo- ber 6, 1984. Section 2.
