IN THE,PROPOSED,AMOUNT OF $466,325.009 BASE BID PLUS ADDITIVE 1 OF THE PROPOSAL, CURTIS PARK ELDERLY MEALS FACILITY; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $659325.00 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE;7ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $99325.00 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $109865.00 TO COVER THE INDIRECT COST;<WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE FEDERAL JOBS BILL FUNDS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT 8TH YEAR CONTINGENT FUNDS ALREADY ALLOCATED TO THE PROJECT T BY RESOLUTION 83-468 DATED JUNE 9TH 1983, AND RESOLUTION 84-396 DATED APRIL 5TH 1984;-�AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.% WHEREAS, sealed bids were received November 19, 1984, for Curtis Parks Elderly Meals Facility; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of Public Works recommend that the bid received from F. & L. Construction, Inc. be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; and WHEREAS, sufficient monies have been previously allocated for the proposed amount of the contract, project expense, and incidentals from the Federal Jobs Bill Fund in the amount of $300000 and from Community Development Block Grant 8th Year Contingency Funds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The November 19, 19829 bid of F. & L. Construction, Inc. in the proposed amount of $466,325.00 for the project entitled Curtis Parks Elderly Meals Facility for the Base Bid plus Additive 1 of the proposal, based on lump sum prices, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. The amount of $4660 25.00 is hereby allocated from the Federal Jobs Bill Funds and Community Development Block Grant 8th Year Contingency Funds previously allocated to the project by Resolution 83-468 dated June 9th 1983 and Resolution 84-596 dated April 5th 1984. Section 3. The additional amount of $659285.00 is hereby allocated from the aforesaid fund to cover the cost of project expense. Section 4 The additional amount of $99325.00 is hereby allocated. from the aforesaid fund to cover the cost of such incidental items as advertising, testing laboratories, and postage. Section 5. The additional amount of $10,865.00 is hereby allocated from the aforesaid fund to cover the indirect cost. Section 6. The City manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the CIty of Miami with F. & L. Construction, Inc., for Curtis Parks Elderly Meals Facility, Base Bid plus Additive 1 of the proposal. Section 7. The proposed attached resolution accepts the bid received November 19, 1984 of F. & L. Construction, Inc. in the amount of $466,325.00, and authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract on behalf of the City.
