RESOLUTION NO. 84-1488
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED
"NORANTONIO ACRES", A SUBDIVISION IN THE
CITY OF MIAMI; AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS
SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE THE PLAT AND PROVIDING FOR THE
RECORDATION OF SAID PLAT IN THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends the
acceptance of the plat:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The plat entitled "Norantonio Acres", is a
replat of Lots 1 through 10, Block 2, and Lots 1 through 16, Block 3,
"Evergreen Lawns No. 3", according to the plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book 21, at Page 70 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, together with that portion of N.W. 37th Street and the 15
foot wide alley lying within the extensions of the boundaries of said
Blocks 2 and 3; and also together with the reversionary portions of
the right-of-ways for N.W. 38th Street and N.W. 29th Court by said
plat which lie within Metropolitan Dade County, all lying in Section
219 Township 53 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami, Dade County,
Florida which subject plat by reference is made a part hereof as if
fully incorporated herein and which plat, together with the
dedications shown thereon, and the dedications to the perpetual use of
the public of all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on
said property, is hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami,
Florida.
Section 2. The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the plat and cause the same to be
recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.

"NORANTONIO ACRES"
LOCATED AT N.W. 36 STREET & N.W. 30 AVENUE
A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA

The accompanying Plat entitled "Norantonio Acres" was
prepared by Schwebke-Shiskin & Assoc., Inc.
It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and
is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved.
PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT:
(1) The property platted is a replat of Lots 1 ,through 10,
Block 2 and Lots 1 through 16, Block 3, "Evergreen Lawns
No. 3", according 'to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 21, at Page 70 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, together with that portion of N.W. 37th Street
and the 15 foot alley lying within the extensions of the

boundaries of said Blocks 2 and 3; and also together with
the reversionary portions of the right-of-ways for N.W.
38th Street and N.W. 29th Court by said plat which lie
within Metropolitan Dade County. The plat consists of
two tracts containing 4.46 + acres. It is zoned CG - 1/7
and GU in Dade County.
(2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the
standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of
Miami, Florida.
(3) As certified to by Richard P. Shiskin, Registered Land
Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of
the State of Florida.
(4) The City Zoning Board of Miami, Florida, after Public
Hearing, has recommended the closing of that portion of the
15' east/west alley with an approximate length of 310'
located south of Northwest 37th Street (proposed to be

closed by Dade County) and approximately 10.0' north of the
north right-of-way line of Northwest 36th Street between
Northwest 29th Court and Northwest 30th Avenue. This action
was confirmed by City Commission Resolution No. 84-1056.

The attached Cdrtificate of Title Examination dated November
9, 1984, signed by Michael T. Huguelet, Attorney, indicates
that the fee simple title to the property platted is
correctly vested in Susie Norantonio, a widow and the Plat
has been correctly executed.

The area platted is not encumbered by mortgages.

In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 54, of The
Code of The City of Miami, Florida, a Performance Bond in
the amount of $38 9000 has been executed by Susie Norantonio
as owner, Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company, as
lessee, and Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland,
Surety. This Bond and the Surety's Power of Attorney will
accompany the Agreement between the City of Miami, Florida
and the Principal to guarantee the construction of
landscaping, asphaltic concrete pavement, removal of
existing sidewalk, sidewalk, curb and gutter and storm
drainage structures.

accompanying copy of a portion of City of Miami, Florida,
Zoning Sheet No. 18.

The attached Resolution has been prepared for the acceptance

Bond shall be considered complied with; otherwise, it shall remain in full force and
effect. In the event that the Principal shall fail or neglect to fulfill such obligations,
the Surety covenants and agrees that within thirty (30) days after receipt of written
notice from the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of the Princi-

the improvements set forth in said Agreement; provided that, if the Director of the
