A MOTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO GRANT IN -KIND SERVICES AS MAY BE REQUIRED, INCLUDING POLICE, SANITATION AND OTHER SERVICES, IF A TICKER - TAPE PARADE IS HELD FOR THE "MIAMI DOLPHINS" AFTER THE SUPERBOWL. A MOTION APPROVING IN PRINCIPLE A REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL AID FOR THE "MARTIN LUTHER KING PARADE" SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 14, 1985, SUBJECT TO FINAL APPROVAL BY THE CITY MANAGER. A MOTION APPROVING IN PRINCIPLE A REQUEST MADE BY GEORGE KNOX, ESQ. ON BEHALF OF THE "MISS COLLEGIATE BLACK AMERICAN PAGEANT" FOR FUNDING OF AN EVENT TO BE HELD APRIL 13, 1985, SUBJECT TO FINAL APPROVAL BY THE CITY MANAGER. A MOTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANANGER TO INSTRUCT THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT TO SEND BACK TO THE PLANNING ADVI- SORY BOARD, FOR FURTHER REVIEW, POSIBLE CONSIDERATION OF A REDUCTION OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF EXCESS PARKING SPACES REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A BONUS FROM 100 TO 75 AS MENTIONED IN AGENDA ITEM 51 IN TODAY'S AGENDA. A MOTION GRANTING A REQUEST MADE BY MARGARITA CANO, COORDINATOR/COMMUNITY RELATIONS DEPARTMENT, METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ALLOCATE AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,000 IN ORDER TO HELP DEFRAY THE COST OF PRINTING A CATALOG IN CONNECTION WITH "MIAMI GENERATIONS", AN EXHIBITION WHICH WILL OPEN IN PHILADELPHI ON FEBRUARY 8, 1985, WHICH EXHIBITION INCLUDES 36 WORKS OF FINE ART BY SEVEN CUBAN AMERICAN ARTISTS,PROVIDED, HOW- EVER, THIS CONTRIBUTION IS MATCHED BY METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY. A MOTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING FINAL WORDING OF THE CASINO GAMBLING PROVISIONS OF THE BAYSIDE CONTRACT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY, AND AS MORE FULLY EXPRESSED IN AN EXCERPT OF SAID CONTRACT, WHICH WAS PRESENTED TO THE CITY COMMISSION AND WHICH FORMS PART OF THE WORKING PAPERS OF TODAY'S AGENDA.
