W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4505, AND DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, H-4505. WHEREAS, the overall condition of the street right of way of N. W. 47 Avenue between West Flagler Street and N. W. 7 Street has deteriorated; and WHEREAS, the deteriorated street has parkways in poor condition due to extensive on -street parking, pavement that is narrow, in poor condition, off center and/or out of grade and drainage problems exist; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvements will include new asphaltic pavement, concrete curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, storm drainage facilities and landscaping; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. A local improvement described as N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4505, shall be made under Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, located at N. W. 47 Avenue between West Flagler Street and N. W. 7 Street. Section 2. This improvement shall include clearing and grading, construction of asphaltic pavement, concrete curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, storm drainage facilities and landscaping. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-45050 and the property against which special assessments shall be made for a portion of the cost thereof, hereunder shall be designated as N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT, H-45059 Resolution Ordering FROM: R[FERENC[S: al Cath r ENCLOSURES: ( For Commission Meeting Director of Public Works of January 10, 1985) The Department of Public Works recommends adoption of a resolution ordering N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4505 in N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4505. In a continuing effort to serve the residents of the City of Miami, a local improvement described as N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-45059 is being proposed as an assessable improvement . under Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami. This district is located at N. W. 47 Avenue between West Flagler Street and N. W. 7 Street. The condition of the street right of way in this project has deteriorated. The pavement is narrow, in poor condition, off center and/or out of grade; side parkways are in poor condition due to extensive on -street parking; and drainage problems exist. All of these problems will be corrected on N. W. 47 Avenue in N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4505• The proposed construction will include asphaltic pavement, concrete side walk, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities and landscaping. The construction of this improvement will be funded by general obligation bond funds. The estimated total cost of this project is i $4509000. jThis improvement shall be designated in all proceedings and assessments as N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4505, and the property against which special assessments shall be made for a portion of the cost thereof shall be designated as N. W. 47 AVENUE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4505.
