Ninety (90) per cent of the performers and one hundred (100) per cent of the infrastructure used in the festival (stages, sound systems, etc), are contracted locally. 8. We are audited yearly by one of the "Big Eight" accounting firms. Arthur Andersen & Co. audited the 1984 festival. We are also audited by the City of Miami. We have demonstrated our continued interest in working closely with the City of Miami for the betterment of this community. Just recently we secured $10,000 of funding from General Foods Corporation for improvements in Shenandoah Park and also obtained from Libby's, McNeill and Libby, the* donation of over 20,000 units of nectars for the senior citizens at the Little Havana Activities and Nutrition Centers. We hope to continue these programs in the future. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of our request. Sincerely, Ivan R.
