"It is recommended that $15,800 be
allocated from the Supplemental Re-
creation Budget of the Department of
Parks and Recreation, in connection
with the Jose Marti Parade and Park
Dedication to be held on Monday,
January 28, 1985, per the attached re-

The City Commission passed Resolution No. 85-13 on January 10,
1985, allocating $4500 for the Jose Marti Parade. Since that
resolution was written, the parade and the dedication of Jose
Marti Park have been combined.
The parade will start at Cuban Memorial Boulevard and end in Jose
Marti Park on Monday, January 28, 1985. The formal dedication
ceremony will be held at 12:00 following the arrival of the
parade. The following Saturday, February 2, will feature
puppets, mariachis, and music.
This combined event is expected to cost $20,300. Monies for the
difference between the total and the amount already allocated, or
$15,800, are available from the Supplemental Recreation Budget.
