IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,920.00, LAW MAN'S AND SHOOTERS SUPPLY, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,725.00, OAKS WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTORS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,172.00, SOUTHERN GUN DISTRIBUTORS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200.00 AND 3-D INV, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,900.00 FOR FURNISHING AMMUNITION ON A CONTRACT BASIS FOR ONE YEAR AT A TOTAL PROPOSED COST OF $66,283.00; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE 1984-85 OPERATING BUDGET OF THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE ASSISTANT CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR THESE MATERIALS. WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were received December 17, 1984 for the furnishing of Ammunition on a Contract Basis for One (1) Year to the Department Police; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 28 potential suppliers and 7 bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available in the 1984-85 Operating Budget of the Department of Police; and WHEREAS, these materials will be used by the Department of Police for the purpose of replacement of expended ammunition; and WHEREAS, The City Manager and the Director of the Department of Police recommend that the bids received from Ammunition Reloaders, Buffalo Rock Shooters Supply, Harris House and Ammo, Inc., Law Man's and Shooters Supply, Inc., Oaks Wholesale Distributors and 3-D Inv., Inc. be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The December 17, 1984 bids from Ammunition Reloaders in the amount of $34,875.00, Buffalo Rock Shooters Supply in the amount of $14,491.00, Harris House and Ammo, Inc. in the amount of $1,920.00, Law Man's and Shooters Supply, Inc. in the amount of $2,725.00, Oaks Wholesale Distributors in the amount of $7,172.00, Southern Gun Distributors in the amount of CITY COMM IISSION 1ff6TIIyff FEB 14 1985 t " - i y �4 LA $1,200.00 and 3-D Inv. Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to instruct the Assistant Chief Procurement Officer to issue a Purchase Order for these materials.
