HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-85-0202t r, J-85-89 1/23/85 rr/112/D8 RESOLUTION NO. $5_202 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF DAVID WEAVER AS A MEMBER OF THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR A TERM EXPIRING ON DECEMBER 2, 1989. WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Off -Street Parking Board met on January 16, 1985 and, subject to confirmation by the City Commission, reappointed David Weaver to the Board for a term expiring December 2, 1989; and WHEREAS, the above individual fulfills the qualifications for Board membership as set forth in subsection (b) of Section 23-A.1 of the City Charter; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The appointment of David Weaver as a member of the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, for a term expiring December 2, 1989, is hereby confirmed. Att . • r 09 w RESOLUTION NO. 85-746 A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING DAVID WEAVER TO THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COMMISSION THAT THIS REAPPOINTMENT BE CONFIRMED WHEREAS, Mr. Weaver's term of office as a member of the Off - Street Parking Board of the City of Miami expired on December 2, 1984; and WHEREAS, a member shall be named and appointed by the remaining members of the Board, subject to confirmation by the Commission, for a term of five years; and WHEREAS, Mr. Weaver has performed his duties and obligations in a conscientious and devoted manner; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami that Mr. Weaver be reappointed: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. David Weaver is hereby reappointed as a member of the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, pursuant to Section 23-A.1 of the City of Miami Charter, for a term of five years which will expire on December 2, 1969. Section 2. The Board hereby recommends to the City Commission that the reappointment of David Weaver be confirmed. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1985.
