HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-85-0220J-85-272 3/5/85 rr/059/D-1 RESOLUTION NO. 85--220 A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND ITS CITIZENS TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF DAVID F. CERF UPON HIS DEATH. WHEREAS, David F. Cerf, who just passed away, was a respected member of the legal profession, and was employed as an Assistant Property Manager for the City of Miami from June 24, 1963 through October 1, 1965; and WHEREAS, David F. Cerf was a civic -minded community leader who fought for the underprivileged and was involved in activities at St. John's Baptist Church and was also a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Tiger Bay Club, the Kiwanis Club, the Jaycees, and a past President of the Toastmasters Club; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission, on behalf of the City of Miami and its citizens, to express its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of David F. Cerf; NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. On behalf of the citizens of the City of Miami, the City Commission hereby conveys to the family and friends of David F. Cerf its deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences, upon his death.
