That a Sanitary sewer improvement identified as FAIRLAWN NORTH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR- 5491-C shall be made under the provisions of Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, said IMPROVEMENT to consist of: Laying an 8 inch or larger Vitrified Clay and/or Iron Pipe Sanitary Sewer at or near the centerline of: N.W 7 Street from N.W. 57 Avenue to N.W. 61 Avenue N.W. 5 Street from N.W. 57 Avenue to N.W. 61 Avenue N.W. 3 Street from N.W. 57 Avenue to N.W. 61 Avenue N.W. 2 Street from N.W. 57 Avenue to N.W. 61 Avenue N.W. 57 Court from W. Flagler Street to N.W. 7 Street N.W. 58 Avenue from W. Flagler Street to N.W. 7 Street N.W. 58 Court from W. Flagler Street to N.W. 7 Street N.W. 59 Avenue from W. W. 6 0 Laying six-inch (611) or larger cast iron pipe laterals, as required to the lots and parcels of land which but upon the above -mentioned streets, including the lots and parcels of land described in Section 2 hereof; together with necessary manholes, other appurtenances, pump stations, outfall, connections to existing sewers, relaying street pavement, sidewalks, and curb and gutters where such relaying is made necessary by this improvement. Section 2. Special Assessments for a portion of the cost of said FAIRLAWN NORTH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR- 5491-C shall be levied upon all the lots and parcels of land which abut upon the above -mentioned streets, including the following described lots and parcels of land, and such lots and parcels of land are hereby designated FAIRLAWN NORTH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5491-C. Cather Director of Public Works ENCLOSURES: ( For Commission Meeting of March 14, 1985) The Department of Public Works recommends the adoption of the Ordering Resolution for the construction of FAIRLAWN NORTH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5491-C (centerline sewer). f; This district consists of properties in an area bounded by N.W. 57 Avenue, N.W. 61 Avenue, Tamiami Canal and West Flagler Street. The construction of this sanitary sewer improvement is part of the City's continuing program to provide sanitary sewers throughout the City of Miami. The area is presently served by septic tank and drainfield installations which are to be abandoned by the property owners after completion of the sanitary sewer system. To serve this area, the Department of Public Works has designated FAIRLAWN NORTH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT in FAIRLAWN NORTH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5491-C (centerline sewer) as an assessable improvement under Section 56 of the City Charter. Each property designated for assessment under the ordering resolution will receive a sewer service lateral to the property line. The FAIRLAWN NORTH SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT is included in the 1980-1986 Capital Improvements Program and will be constructed by a private contractor under contract with the City of Miami. The estimated total project cost is $2,000,000.00 and will be funded by General Obligation Bonds which must be sold prior to the bidding. Page 1 of 2 rJ Randolph B.
