Home My WebLink AboutR-85-0424J-$5-359 RESOLUTION NO. 8a5`424+ A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK OF LANZU C014STRUCTION CO., AT A TOTAL GUST OF $1941690-10.21 FUR LYNWOOD SANITARY SEWER IMPRUVEMENT (8106 A, B, C, D AND ADDITIVE BIDS A, 81 C, D) IN LYNWUUD SANITARY SEWER IMPRUVEMENT DISTRICT - SR-548'1 C&S (CENTEHLINE & SIDELINE SEWERS); AND AUTHURiZINU A FINAL PAYMENT OF $152,283.5'% WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated February 7, 1984 between the City of Miami and Lanzo Construction Co.; and WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed, and Lanzo Construction Co. has furnished the required documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Puelie Works recommend that the completed work be accepted acid final payment made to the contractor; and WHEREAS, after a duly advertised public hearing held on April 11, 1985, to hear objections by persons interested in or affected by City Commission acceptance of the completed construction of LYNWOOD SANITARY .SEWER IMPRUVEMENT (BIDS A, B, C, D AND ADDITIVE BIDS A, B, C, 0) in LYNWOOD SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - SR-5467 C&S (centerline & sideline sewers), no objections were sustained; NOW, THEREFURE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The completed work performed by Lanzo Construction Co. for LYNWUUD SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT (Bids A, B, C, D and Additive Bids A, 81 C, D) LYNWOOD SANITARY SEWER IMPRUVEMENT DISTRICT - SR-5487 (centerline & sideline sewers) is hereby approved. Lanzo Construction Co., has completed trio project consisting of constructing a new sanitary sewer including 61I-20 sewer pipe, 611-8" house laterals together with all necessary appurtenances, in an area bounded by West Flagler Street to S. w. b Street between S. W. -17-44 Avenues. The originai contract amount was for $1,48j,d77.00, dnd the completed amount is s1t41690'10.21. It was completed on time. Tne source of funds is "Lynwood Sanitary Sewer Improvement" account. At the Commission meeting of December 13, 1964 Resolution No. 84-1431 passed, directing the City Clerk to publish a Notice of Public Hearing on LYNWOOD SANITARY SEWER IM PROVEMEW T - (BIDS A, B, C, D AND ADDITIVE BIDS A, B, C, D) at the completion of the project.
