HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-85-0362t. . 4/11/85 F RESOLUTION NO. e A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND ITS CITIZENS TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF MILTON FISHER UPON HIS DEATH. WHEREAS, Milton Fisher, who just passed awav, was a prominent business leader and the founder of the Panelfab International Corp., constructors of prefabricated, moderately priced buildings; and WHEREAS, Milton Fisher helped Miami emerge as an international commercial center and traveled extensively, from the Middle East to the Far East, promoting Miami; and WHEREAS, Milton Fisher was a civic -minded citizen who chaired the Florida Tax Coalition; served a term as Chairman of the Dade County American Red Cross; was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Future; the Board of Trustees of the Southern Center for International Studies, the Task Force of the Florida Economic Advisory Council, and was named by former President Carter to the American Advisory Committee for Trade Neqotiations; 4 a nd N WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission, on behalf x.�. of the City of Miami and its citizens to express its deepest >f `. sympathy to the family and friends of Milton Fisher; NOWv THEREFOREF BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. On behalf of the citizens of the City of Miami, the City Commission hereby conveys to the family and Y4•• friends of Milton Fisher its deepest sympathy and sincerest _Y �T condolences, upon his death.
