Ho Aar REFERENCES: Acting Golf Director ENCLOSURES: 'It is recommended that Sections 30-53, 30-54, and 30-55 of the City Code be further amended for the purpose of re- vising certain fees at City of Miami Golf Courses as indicated below, as per the attached Ordinance.' In an effort to restructure the fees charged at the City -owned golf cnurses, and to establish comparable rates with other local public courses, it is recommended that the below listed fees be approved for implementation for the forthcoming summer season. Since new electric carts have replaced the existing fleet, and other improvements have been made, at both courses, it is appro- priate to increase the fees accordingly. The summer package helps maintain the volume of play at both courses, makes the City com- petitive, and produces additional revenues to support the golf program. The twilight electric cart fee is a new innovation which will attract afternoon clientele as well as generate new revenues. It is estimated that a $90,000 revenue increase will be realized from the proposed fee increases; $40,000 from the summer package and $50,000 from the green fees, hand carts, and twilight elctric cart fees.
