A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
WASTE COLLECTION LICENSE , PERMITTING
WILLIAM JOHNSON, D/B/A WORLD SANITATION,
TO COMMENCE DOING BUSINESS UPON FULL
COMPLIANCE WITH CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Miami, Florida,
provides detailed requirements for the issuance of City
of Miami Waste Collection Licenses; and
WHEREAS, it appears that William Johnson, d/b/a
World Sanitation, has applied for such a license and
have met or have represented under oath that they will
meet, within the required period of time, the require-
ment of said Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
{ j Section 1. The License Section of the City of
Miami Finance Department is hereby authorized to issue

World Sanitation, and said company may commence doing
r ' business thereupon in full compliance with Chapter 22

It is recommended that the attached
resolution authorizing the issuance
of a Waste Collection license, per-
mittina William Johnson, D/B/A World
Sanitation, to commence -doing business
upon full compliance with Chapter 22
of the Code of the City of Miami,
Florida, be adopted.
Enclosed is application for Commercial Waste Collection license
to be approved by the City Commission in accordance with Section
22-40 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida.
Recuirements already met are as follows:
C Fingerprints were submitted to the City of Miami
Civilian Identification Division of. the Police
Department, as required.
o The Department of Solid Waste has inspected and
approved the equipment to be used as being in
accordance with the ordinances of the City of Miami.
o A Certificate of Insurance has been obtained that
meets the limits as prescribed by the City Code.
An occupational License will be issued once the City Commission has
approved this resolution.

applicant's business, unless such vehicle has been first approved by the Director of the Department of Sanitation
for waste collection use, and said vehicle is so constructed and loaded as to prevent any load, contents or waste
from being blown or deposited upon any street, alley or other public place, and that the wheels or tires of said ve•
hicle shall first be cleaned before entering any public place to prevent any deposit an any street, alley or other
public place of mud, dirt, sticky substance, waste or foreign matter of any kind.

marked on both sides of the vehicles in stencilled letters in an area of not less than 30" by 14" with the follow•

A monthly record of all employees will be kept by the Civilian Identification Office to assure compliance with
Ordinance No. 7434.

26. As required by Ordinance No. 7434, the above information must be presented to the City Commission for review
and appropriate action. After a decision has been reached by the Commission, the application will be returned to
the Tax & License Supervisor.
27. Before license is issued by the Tax and License Supervisor, lettering must be provided an all licensed trucks and
insurance coverage must be acquired as provided by Ordinance 7434.
