A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE TIME LIMITATIONS
BETWEEN REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT
APPROXIMATELY 3151-3199 SW 27 AVENUE* 2660
LINCOLN AVENUE AND 2699 TIGERTAIL AVENUSt
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 1
THROUGH 6 INCLUSIVE, BLOCK F, AMENDED PLAT
OF NEW BISCAYNE (9-16) , PER SECTION 3514.5
OF ZONING ORDINANCE 9500 IN ORDER TO
FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY IN
THE CONTEXT OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Commission, by Motion 85-460, April
18, 1985, expressed their intent to waive the time limitation in
between rezoning; and
WHEREAS, Section 3514.5 of Zoning Ordinance No. 9500,
permits the City Commission to waive the time limits established
by Sections 3514.2, 3514.3 and 3514.4; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it appropriate and
in the interest of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to allow
a simultaneous filing of a request for a Planned Development -
Mixed Use and a Change of Zoning; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful
consideration of this matter deems it advisable and in the
general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant
this waiver of time limits;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The time limits associated with the
changes of zoning of property located at approximately 3151-3199
SW 27 Avenue, 2660 Lincoln Avenue and 2699 Tigertail Avenue, more
particularly described as Lots 1 through 6 inclusive, Block F,
AMENDED PLAT OF NEW BISCAYNE (B-16), are hereby waived to
facilitate development of this project in the context of the
adopted Comprehensive Plan, per Section 3514.5 of Zoning
Ordinance 9500.

Ordinance 9500 in order to
facilitate the development of the
City in the context of the adopted
Comprehensive Plan.
This resolution formalizes the City Commission Motion 85-460, made April 18,
1985. It allows the subject property to be rezoned twice without the
ordinarily required time period between the rezonings.
