J (� AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 AND 6 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 9901, ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 211 1984, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIA- TIONS ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEM88R 301 1985, AS AMENDED BY INCREAS- ING THE APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUND, SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK 'WEST REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT OFFICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $55,500 FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATIONAL EXPENSES, REVENUE IN A LIKE AMOUNT IS AVAILABLE FROM THE MIAMI SPORTS AND EXHI- BITION AUTHORITY IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,500 AND FROM DEVELOPER'S BID DEPOSIT IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,000; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 9901 on September 21, 1984, establishing revenues and appropriations for the City of Miami, Florida, for fiscal year ending September 30, 1985; and WHEREAS, the Southeast Overtown/Park West Project has agreed to share the cost of special legal services with the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority; and WHEREAS, the Southeast Overtown/Park West Project Office has incurred expenses associated with the selection of developers for Phase I of the redevelopment project; and WHEREAS, said developers have submitted monies to the City of Miami as a part of their bid proposals; and WHEREAS, the developers have been chosen for Phase I of the redevelopment project; and WHEREAS, monies received from the Miami Sports and Exhi- bition and from bids securities, will increase the appropriation allocated to Southeast Overtown/Park West Redevelopment Project office; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED 13Y THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, fLORIDA; t Section 1. Sections 2 and 6 of Ordinance No, 9901, on September 21, 1984, the Annual Appropriations Ordinance for fiscal year ending September 30, 1985, is hereby amended in the following particulars 1/ "Section 2: The following appropriations are made for the municipal operation of. Cable Television, Rescue Services, Southeast Over- town/Park West, Federal Revenue Sharing for Fiscal Year 1985, Local Option Gas Tax, and Police Second Dollar Training for fiscal Year 1984-85 of the City of Miami for fiscal year 1984-85. Special Revenue Funds Appropriations Southeast Overtown/ Park West Project Office---76T,.&64 $ 813,062.00 Total Special Revenue Funds $16,261,4-70 $16,314,976 00 Section 6: The above appropriations are made based on the following source of reve- nues for the 1984-85 fiscal year: Special Revenue Funds Revenue Southeast Overtown/ Park West Project Office813,062.00 Total Special Revenue Funds $16,314,976.00 Section 2: The herein Special Revenue Fund is increased for the purpose of providing additional funds in the amount of $53,500 for operational expenses of the Southeast Overtown/Park West Development Project Officer. Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4: If any section, part of section, paragraph, clause, phrase or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the .remaining provisions of this Ordinance shall not be affected. Section 6t The requirement of reading this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -fifths of the members of the Commission.
