RESOLUTION NO. es--6si
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING AN ADDITIONAL
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $16,000 FROM
SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS,
CONTINGENT FUND, IN SUPPORT OF THE 1985
INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL; SAID ALLOCATION
BEING CONDITIONED UPON THE COMPLETION OF
A FINAL AUDIT OF THE FUNDS PREVIOUSLY
ALLOCATED IN SUPPORT OF SAID EVENT.
WHEREAS, the City Commission, by Resolution No. 85-75,
allocated $699000 in cash and $13,500 in fee waivers in support
of the 1985 International Festival; and
WHEREAS, Motion No. 85-580 was passed on June 13, 1985,
expressing the intent of the City Commission to allocate an
additional $16,000 in support of the event, conditioned upon the
completion of a final audit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. An additional amount not to exceed $16,000 is
hereby allocated from Special Programs and Accounts, Contingent
Fund, in support of the 1985 International Festival.
Section 2. The herein allocation is conditioned upon the
completion of a final audit of the funds previously allocated in
support of the event.

The City Commission, by Resolution No. 85-75, previously allocated
$69,000 in cash and $13,500 in fee waivers in support of the 1985
International Festival, based upon revenue predictions presented by
Morty Freedman.
On June 13, 1985, the Commission passed Motion No. 85-580, expressing
its intent to allocate an additional $16,000 to cover deficits
generated by the event, conditioned upon the completion of a final
audit.
The attached resolution formalizes that motion and will allow staff to
proceed with disbursing grant funds once all conditions are met.
