A RESOLUTION APPOINtIN6 TWO ADDITIONAL f
MEMBERS TO THE METROPOLITAN BADE COUNTY
SHORELINE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE,
SOLELY FOR PURPOSES OF CONSIDERING
DEVELOPMENT ACTIONS AND PLANS WHICH INVOLVE
REAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF MIAMIj PER
CHAPTER 23D OF THE CODE OF METROPOLITAN
DADE COUNTY, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO FURNISH CERTIFIED COPIES OF THIS
RESOLUTION TO THE COUNTY MANAGER OF
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, Chapter 330 (Biscayne Bay Management Act) of the Code of
Metropolitan Dade County was amended at the March 5, 1986 meeting of the Board
of County Commissioners to require review of shoreline development actions and
plans within a designated shoreline development review boundary; and
WHEREAS* this amendment will affect certain properties fronting on Biscayne
Bay with City of Miami-, and
WHEREAS* the amendment included the establishment of a seven member
Shoreline Development Review Committee comprised of qualified professionals
charged with the responsibility of conducting the shoreline review; and
WHEREAS, the amendment allows the local governing body of a municipality to
appoint two additional members who are recognized professionals in the fields
of architecture, landscape architecture and/or urban design, who will
participate as full members of the Committee solely for the purpose of
considering development actions and plans which involve real property lying
within the boundaries of the individual shoreline municipality;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Commission does hereby appoint as additional members to the
Metropolitan Dade County Shoreline Development Review Committee, solely for
purposes of considering development actions and plans which involve real
property within the municipal boundaries of the City of Miami, per Chapter 33D1
as amended, code of Metropolitan Dade County,, Jose Feito
And Edward WriSht whose
design talent and professional experience would allow them to contribute
significantly in the shoreline development review process,
