THEREOF AS 08SI07N PLAZA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT H-4509.
WHEREAS, the overall condition of certain street rights of

way in the Design Plaza area bordered by N. E. 38 Street, N. E.

41 Street) 14, Miami Avenue and N. E. 2 Avenue has deteriorated;

and
WHEREAS, the deteriorated streets have parkways in poor

condition due to extensive on=street parking, pavement that is

narrow, in poor condition and/or out of grade and drainage

problems exist and

WHEREAS, the City Commission has approved in principal the
Miami Design Plaza District Development Plan which recommends
extensive street improvements; and

WHEREAS, the proposed improvements will include new

asphaltic pavement, concrete curbs and/or gutters, concrete and
decorative brick sidewalk, storm drainage facilities and
landscaping; and
WHEREAS, DESIGN PLAZA HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4509 is included
`
in the City of Miami's Capital Improvement Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY

Section 1. A local improvement described as DESIGN PLAZA

Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, located in the area
