A RCSOL11fi10N APPOINTINGHERITAGE CERTAIN C�NSERVAfi ON �OARO� TO
THE CITY OF MIAM
WHEREAS, the Heritage Conservation Board was established by Ordinance
No. 9426, dated May 2% 1982, to recommend properties for designation as
historic sites, historic districts, and archeological zones, to approve or
deny Certificates of Appropriateness and to review development plans in
environmentally significant areas of the City; and
WHEREAS, it is intended that members of the Heritage Conservation Hoard
shall be persons of knowledge, experience, mature judgement and background,
having ability and desire to act in the public interest and representing the
various special professional training, experience, and interests required to
make informed and equitable decisions concerning conservation and protection
of the physical environment; and
WHEREAS, there are currently three vacancies on the Heritage
Conservation Board, which positions were formerly filled by John Clark (real
estate broker); Albert Perez (landscape architect); and Arthur King (citizen);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following named persons are hereby appointed as members
of the City of Miami Heritage Conservation Board to serve in their designated
positions and for the specified terms of office:
Jay Hirsch Real Estate Broker member, to serve a
regular term expiring July 31, 19$8.
Albert Perez Landscape Architect member, to serve a
regular term expiring July 31, 1988.
Arthur King, Sr. Citizen member, to serve a regular term
expiring July 31, 1988,

deadline for receipt of nominations was set for July 2, 1985._
