IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $112t531,75o Bib C OF THE PROPOSAL, FOR SILVER BLUFF STORM SEWER PROJECT WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE "SILVER BLUFF STORM SEWERS" ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1t002t753,16 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH EACH 05 SAID 5IRM8- WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 16, 1985 for SILVER BLUFF STORM SEWER PROJECT) bids "A", O'B" and "C"; and WHEREAS, said SILVER BLUFF STORM SEWER PROJECT, as advertised on June 27, 1985, listed three phases to the project in order to provide better opportunities for minority participation; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Public Works recommend that the bid received from Williams Paving Co., Inc., for Bids "All and "B"i and the bid received from Miri Construction Inc. for Bid 11C11 be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bids- and WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Appropriation Ordinance No. 9939, as amended, was adopted on December 20, 1984, and monies are available for the proposed amount of the contracts, project expense, incidentals and indirect cost from the account entitled "SILVER BLUFF STORM SEWERS" as set forth under See. 5-A.
