The reason for the appearance is to request personal support from the commissioners for the XVI Interamerican Conference to be held in Miami, Florida from August 19 — 23, 1985 with the presence of 22 countries represented by thousands of delegates. We have had economical support from the City in the past and we are in the process of requesting additional funds. (G.A.A.E.) probram to conduct the XVI IntPramerican Accounting Conference, -n Miami on August 19-2y, 1985; sa'd a I ocat'_on being cond'.t' oned upon compliance with City of M'am'. Th's event involves the participation of accountants from twenty-two countries '.n aouth America, the U.S. and Canada. The XVI Interamertcan Accounting Conference will be hos*ed by the Cuban Assoclat'.on of Accountants 'n Ex'1P (C.A.A.E.) in Miami on August 1y-23, 1y85. Through this event, the C.A.A.E. w'_11 continue to promote the 'ncreased knowledge and professional 4.sm of accountants '.n the international trade field as well as to -identify the investment and business opportunities 'n M'_ami . On June 28, 19641 the, C'ty Commiss'.on allocated $10,000 by Resolution Wo.84-704 as a contribution to the Cuban Association of Accountants in Exile (C.A.A.E.) for its XVI IntPramPrican Accounting Conference. V'a a subsequent amendment, the contract was amended to change the contractual dates from June 1, 1984 through May 31, 1985.
