entered as second class mail matter at the post office In
Miami in said Dade County, Florida, for a period of one year
next preceding the first publication of the attached copy of
advertisement; and affiant further says that she has neither
paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation any dscount,
rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this
advertisement for publication in the said newspaper.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by
the Commission of the City of
Miami, Florida on Thursday, Sep-
tember 12, 1985, at 3:30 P.M. in
the City Commission Chambers
at City Hall, 3500 Pan American
Drive, Miami, Florida, for the pur-
pose of considering the ratifica-
tion by the City Commission of
the waiver of the requirement of
obtaining sealed competitive bids
for increases in the contract cost
for tho following designated pub-
lic works or improvements:
CITY HALL — CONFERENCE
ROOM
An increase of $50,000 In the
contract with Target Construc-
tion, Co. to cover the cost of
the additional work caused by
unforeseen conditions encoun-
tered during construction.
All interested persons are invited
to appear and may be heard con-
cerning such proposed waivers and
increases. Should any person
desire to appeal any decision of
the City Commission with respect
to any matter considered at this
hearing, that person shall ensure
that a verbatim record of the pro-
ceedings is made. including all
testimony and evidence upon
which any appeal may be based.
