IN ORDER TO EXPRESS ITS SYMPATHY WITH THE PEOPLE OF MFXICO. HE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY ')F MIAMI, F[,ORIDA: Section 1. The City Commission, on behalf of the citizens of the City of Miami, Florida, hereby expresses solidarity with the people of. the United Stater of Mexico in their time of need and misfortune due to the devastating earthgilakes which recently struck their country. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby instructed to contact the Honorable Consul of Mexico, Fernando Sanchez Mayans, in order to identify what kind of equipment the City of Miami can send at this time in order to express its sympathy for the people of Mexico.
