A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION j APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF THE RESTRICTED GIFT TO THE CITY OF A PYRAMID DESK AND MATCHING CREDENZA FROM BWF ENTERPRISES, INC. a — ---- — a s WHEREAS, Kamal T. Farah is a local business man who has just exercised his voting privilege for the first time in the City of Miami's recent elections; and WHEREAS, Kamal T. Farah wishes to demonstrate his appreciation of the process of representative local government in general; and WHEREAS, Mr. Farah also desires to express his sleep admiration for the recently elected Mayor of the City of Miami to whom he was introduced after the elections; and WHEREAS, Mr. Farah is the principal owner of BWF Enterprises I Inc., a Florida corporation which operates Le Coin, a local furniture showroom; and WHEREAS, the proposed gift to the City of Miami of a pyramid desk and matching credenza with a listed value of $9,000 is conditioned upon the exclusive use of said furniture by the Mayor of the City of Miami; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The acceptance of the gift to the City of "t Miami of a pyramid desk and matching credenza from BWF I ._ Enterprises, Inc. is hereby approved with the restriction that said furniture is to be used exclusively by the Mayor of the City of Miami. ` PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of NOVEMBER , 1985.
