RESOLU'CTON NO.
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $100,000 FROM SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND
ACCOUNTS, CONTINGENT FUND, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
MAKING NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS AT THE MARINE
STADIUM.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed Motion 85-1103 on
October 24, 1985, authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to
exceed $100,000 for the purpose of making various needed
improvements at the Marine Stadium- and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist in Special Programs and
Accounts, Contingent Fun:], for said purpmset
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORTDA:
Section 1 An amount not to exceed $100.000 is hereby
allocated from Special Programs and Accounts, Contingent Fund,
for the purpose of making needed improvements at the Marine
Stadium.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of NOVEMBER 1985.

The Office of Stadiums recommends the
adoption of a resolution to formalize
f Motion 85-1103 for allocating up to
$100#000 from Special Programs and
Accounts, Contigent Fund, for making
various, needed improvements to the
Marine Stadium.
Motion 85-1103 was approved at the October 24, 1985
Commission meeting to allocate an amount not to
exceed $100,000 for the following improvements to
the Marine Stadium%
1. Remodel one dressing room so that it may
used for a V.I.P. area or press
5 facilities.
2. Fix up and paint the second dressing room.
3. Paint the front of the stadium and the
walls of the walk-up ramps with bright,
festive colors.
4. Rebuild catwalk to the observation plat-
form and create three private boxes.
5. Repair the deck on the stage barge.
The attached resolution formalizes this motion and
identifies a funding source.
