Three bids were received on Bid 84-85-115 for furnishing a security alarm system at the Miami Baseball Stadium. The Office of Stadiums analyzed the bids and determined that Precision Security Systems had submitted the lowest bid at a cost of $5,388.00. Although monitoring service was not included in the bid specifications for purchase of the system, Precision Security Systems did include the first year's monitoring service in their low bid price. Th}s new system is needed to replace an obsolete alarm system currently in use at Miami Stadium. The new system cover more areas of the stadium and the monitoring service will be able to tell in which of eight separate zones an intrusion has occurred.
