NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE
CITY OF MIAMI UITIN QUARTER REVIEW BOARD
Pursuant to Section 62-78 of the Code of the City of Miami.
notice is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of
Miami, not earlier than thirty (30) days from this day, will con-
sider the appointment of five (5) full-time members for a one
year term.
The appointment will consist of: a) One (1) Registered Archi-
tect who must have five (5) years of experience after registra-
tive In the practice of his/her profession, and must either be a
resident of, or have his/her principal place of business in the
City of Miami; or have actively participated in the civic affairs
of the Little Havana Community during the last five (5) years;
b) two (2) Professional Engineers, Registered Landscape Ar-
chitects, or Registered Architects having the same qualifica-
tions as (a) above; (c) two (2) Residents of the City of Miami or
businesspersons, that have their principal place of business in
the City of Miami, or have actively participated in the civic af-
fairs of the Little Havana Community during the last five (5)
years. The public, professional organizations, and citizen or-
ganizations having interest in and knowledge of the purposes
and intent of the Latin Quarter Review Board are encouraged
and solicited to submit to the City Clerk, City Hall, Dinner Key,
Miami, Florida, in writing, names and addresses of persons
and their qualifications for consideration as prospective ap-
pointees to said board. At least five days prior to the making
of said appointments by the City Commission (probably at the
first City Commission meeting in February, now scheduled to
take place on the 13th day of February) the names and
qualifications of persons submitted to the City Clerk will be
available for public review in the office of the City Clerk.
All applications must be received by Wednesday, February 5,
1986. at 5:00 P.M. Nomination forms are available in the City
Clerk's Office.
