ONE -DAY PERIOD IN CONNECTION WITH THIS EVENT; SUBJECT Tu THE ISSUANCE OF ALL PERMITS REQUiRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Buoniconti family and friends have planned an event in Peacock Park on March 1, 1966 to raise funds to cover medical expenses for Mark Buoniconti; and WHEREAS, the organizers have requested permission to sell beer and wine for a one -day period during the event; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96i8 of April 5, 1984, authorized the City Commission to permit the dispensing of beer or wine in soft containers in any City park upon such conditions and limitations as the City Commission shall prescribe; NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE COMMi3SiON OF THE C:iTY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The request of the Buoniconti family and friends to use of Peacock Park for a fund-raising event on March 1, 198b is hereby granted, without Charge for the park permit fee. Section 2. Upon the issuance of a temporary permit by the Florida State -Department of Business Regulation, Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, to sell beer and wine, and pursuant to the City Code, the request of said organizers to sell beer and wine for a one -day period in connection with the Mark Buoniconti Fund -Raining event on March 1, 1986 is hereby granted in compliance with Ordinance No. 9818, further subject to the issuance of all permits required by law.
