A RESOLUTION ORDERING ALLAPATTAH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II H-4507
AND DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY
AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
SHALL BE MADE FOR A PORTION OF THE
COST THEREOF AS ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT -PHASE II H-
4507.
WHEREAS, the overall condition of certain street rights of
way in the Allapattah area has deteriorated; and
WHEREAS, the deteriorated streets nave parkways in poor
condition due to extensive on -street parking, pavement tnat is
narrow, in poor condition and/or out of grade, and drainage
problems exist; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvements will include new
asphaltic pavement, concrete curbs and/or gutters, concrete
sidewalk, storm drainage facilities and landscaping; and
WHEREAS, ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II H-4507 is
included in the City of Miami's Capital Improvement Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A local improvement described as ALLAPATTAH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II H-4507, shall be made under Section
56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, located in
the area bordered by N.W. 23 Street, N.W. 28 Street, N.W. 18
Avenue and N.W. 27 Avenue.
Section 2. Tnis improvement shall include clearing an
grading, construction of asphaltic pavement, concrete
and/or gutters, concrete sidewalk, storm drainage facilities and
landscaping.

Section 3. This improvement shall be designated in all
proceedings and assessments as ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -
PHASE II H-4507, with the following property descriptions by lot
and block number constituting all of the pieces of property
affected by the said improvements:

It is recommended that a resolution be
adopted ordering the ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II H-4507, IN THE
ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT- PHASE II H-4507.
In a continuing effort to serve the resident of the City of
Miami, a local improvement described as ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II H-4507, is being proposed as an assessable
improvement under Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami.
Tnis district is located in the area bordered by N.W. 23 Street,
N.W. 28 Street, N.W. 18 Avenue and N.W. 27 Avenue.
The condition of the street rights of way in this portion of
Allapattah has deteriorated. The pavement is narrow, in poor
condition and/or out of grade; side parKways are in poor
condition and drainage problems exist.
All of these problems will be corrected on the streets included
in ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II H-4507. The proposed
construction will include asphaltic pavement, concrete sidewalk,
concrete curbs and/or gutters, storm drainage facilities and
landscaping.
ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II is included in the City
of Miami's 1985-91 Capital Improvement Program. Construction of
this improvement will be funded by general obligation bond funds.
The estimated total cost of this project is $2,500,000.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings and
assessments as ALLAPATTAH HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT -PHASE II H-4507 and
the property against which special assessments shall be made for
a portion of the cost tnereof, shall be designated as ALLAPATTAH
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT -PHASE II H-4507.
