A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
OF TARGET CONSTRUCTIOM COMPANY AT A TOTAL
COST OF $189,154.83 FOR CITY HALL -
CONFERENCE ROOM; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL
PAYMENT OF $189919.48.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated May 3, 1985 between
the City of Miami and Target Construction Company; and
WHEREAS, the work, has been satisfactorily completed by
Target Construction Company and they have furnished the
required documents certifying that all bills for labor and
materials have been paid in full in connection with the
aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public
Works recommend that the completed work he accepted and final
payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Target
Construction Company for CITY HALL - CONFERENCE ROOM at a total
cost of $189,154.83 is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are
hereby authorized to pay $18,915.48 to Target Construction
Company as full and fit.al payment for all work performed and
all materials furnished in connection with CITY HALL -
CONFERENCE ROOM.

It is recommended that a resolution be
adopted accepting the complete work and
authorizing a final payment of $18,915.48 to
Target Construction Company for CITY HALL -
CONFERENCE ROOM,
Target Construction Company has completed the City Hall -
Conference Room project. The work consisted of constructing
an outside addition on the 2nd floor promenade deck and
interior modifications to the Mayor's 2nd floor offices.
The original contract amount was for $190,000.00, and the
completed amount is $189,154.83. It was completed on time.
It is now in order for the City Commission to accept the
completed work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met.
