AT A TOTAL COST OF $116,587.00 FOR DINNER KEY MARINA - ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS; AND AUTHORI7_ING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $18,129.60. WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated July 18, 1985 between the City of Miami and MET Construction, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the work, has been satisfactorily completed by MET Construction, Inc. and they have furnished the required documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the contractor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The completed work performed by MET Construction, Inc. for DINNER. KEY MARINA - ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS at a total cost of $116,587.00 is hereby approved. Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are hereby authorized to pay $18,129.60 to MET Construction, Inc. as full and final payment for all work performed and all materials furnished in connection with DINNER KEY MARINA - ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS. Odi o City Manager kP ENCLOSURES: (For Commission Meeting of February 13, 1986) It is recommended that a resolution be adopted accepting the completed work and authorizing a final payment of $18,129.60 to MET Construction, Inc. for DINNER KEY MARINA - ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS. MET Construction, Inc. has completed the Dinner Key Marina - Electrical Improvements project. The work consisted of constructing a bank of eight - 4" ducts to extend Florida Power and Light Company's primary electric service to two proposed transformer areas near the existing marina bulkhead, also the construction of a switching vault and a communications room, all located in the Dinner Key Marina parking lot area. The original contract amount was for $116,587.00, and the completed amount is $116,587.00. It was completed on time.
