Home My WebLink AboutR-86-0191J-86-196 RESOLUTION NO. 8(;.191- A RESOLUTION ORDERING FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5511-C (CENTERLINE) AND DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5511-C (CENTERLINE) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That a Sanitary Sewer improvement identified as FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5511-C (CENTERLINE) shall be made under the provisions of Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, said IMPROVEMENT to consist of: Laying an 8-inch or larger Vitrified Clay and/or Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe Sanitary Sewer at or near the centerline of Tamiami Canal Road from S.W. 8 Street to West Flagler Street Flagami Boulevard from S.W. 8 Street to S.W. 71 Avenue Tamiami Boulevard from S.W. 8 Street to S.W. 71 Avenue S.W. 73 Court from S.W. 8 Street to Tamiami Boulevard S.W. 73 Avenue from S.W. 8 Street to S.W. 4 Street S.W. 72 Court from S.W. 7 Street to S.W. 5 Street S.W. 72 Court from S.W. 4 Street to Tamiami Boulevard S.W. 72 Avenue from S.W. 5 Street to The Tamiami Canal S.W. 71 Place from S.W. 8 Street to S.W. 5 Terrace S.W. 71 Court from S.W. 7 Street to S.W. 5 Street S.W. 71 Avenue from S.W. 8 Street to West Flagler Street S.W. 8 Street from F.E.C. Railroad to S.W. 72 Avenue Laying six-inch (611) cast iron and/or Polyvinyl Chloride pipe laterals, as required to the lots and parcels of land which abut upon the above -mentioned streets, including the lots and parcels of land described in Section 2 hereof; together with necessary manholes, other appurtenances, pump stations, outfall, connections to existing sewers, relaying street pavement, sidewalks, and curb and gutters where such relaying is made necessary by this improvement. Section 2. Special Assessments for a portion of the cost of said FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5511-C (CENTERLINE) shall be levied upon all the lots and parcels of land which abut upon the above -mentioned streets, including the following described lots and parcels of land, and such lots and parcels of land are hereby designated FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5511-C (CENTERLINE). Odio City Manager ENCLOSURES: (For Commission Meeting of March 13 , 1986 ) It is recommended that a resolution be adopted ordering the construction of "FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT w DISTRICT SR-5511-C (centerline sewer)." This district consists of properties in an area bounded by the • West City Limits, F. E. C. Railroad, S.W. 8 Street, and the :i Tamiami Canal. The construction of this sanitary sewer ,;- improvement is part of the City's continuing program to provide sanitary sewers throughout the City of Miami. ,.. The area is presently served by septic tank and drainfield installations which are to be abandoned by the property owners after completion of the sanitary sewer system. To serve this area, the Department of Public Works has designated "FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT" in "FLAGAMI SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5511-C (centerline sewer)" as an �.- assessable improvement under Section 56 of the City Charter. Each property designated for assessment under the ordering resolution will receive a sewer service lateral to the property line. a The "FLAGAMI SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTn IS INCLUDED IN THE 1985- 4.4 1991 Capital Improvement Program and will be constructed by a "A private contractor under contract with the City of Miami.
