Odio City Manager BACKGROUND: SUBJECT Ordinance Appropriating Special Revenue Fund Entitled Pre -School Program REFERENCES ENCLOSURES It is recommended that a special revenue fund be established entitled "Pre -School Program" and appropriating funds for its operation in the amount of $100,000 composed of revenue collected from participation fees and designated food reimburse- ments from the United States Department of Agriculture Food Program during FY 85-66 as per the attached ordinance. The City of Miami Pre -School Program has been operated by the Day care Division, Parks and Recreation Department. During fiscal year 1984-85, all fees and charges collected, designated food reimbursement from the United States Department of agriculture Food Program, and necessary accounting transactions, were processed via the "Special Revenue Fund" entitled "Pre -School Program". In that anticipated revenue for fiscal year 85-86, as described above, will remain stationary, it is recommended that a special revenue fund be established for this project, appropriating funds in the amount of $100,000.
