Beautiful ladies between the ages of 16 and 25 will compete to be selected "MISS HISPANIC TRE.-ISURER: Tliomas L. Green HERITAGE". 17CE-TRE.4SC;RER. Fifty finalists of Hispanic descent were selected last year among Ronald Slian►ion more than 200 applications received to compete in the contest: ' 15 were born in different U.S. cities but of Hispanic parents, SECRET.4RY. .-Ina :Maria Haar one Argentinian, four Colombians, nineteen Cubans, three Nicaraguans, two Peruvians, two Puerto Ricans, and three VICE.SECR ET.4 R Y: Venezuelans. Angel Veli: EXECGTIVE DIRECTOR: After several years presenting the pageant at a local level this Eloy Vazquez year the contest will be produced by the Hispanic Heritage Festival Committee, Inc. and WSCV-TV Channel 51 and televised to the USA and Latin America (see schedule attached). More than 11 million telehomes with more than 61 million potential viewers will have the opportunity to enjoy not only the beauty and pageantry of the contest but also the view of the Greater Miami & the Beaches. The "MISS HISPANIC HERITAGE PAGEANT" will be televised on Sunday September 21 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, according to surveys the prime time from the standpoint of television audiences. Included in the 2 hour program will be a visitor and business promotion segment about the Greater Miami and the Beaches. Also the name of Miami will be mentioned countless times during the show and the swimsuit competitions will be taped outdoors showing Miami scenes. In addition internationally recognized singers and //��# screen personalities will perform and act as judges.
